Infinity Ward took to Twitter yesterday to briefly share some of the tweaks and changes that were made to the online playlists and game modes for Modern Warfare in the coming week. This means that players can duke it out with each other one-on-one on perhaps the most famous 1v1 map in the entire franchise’s history. Along with several other updates to Modern Warfare, a 1v1 playlist is coming and exclusively features the Rust map. In fact, last week the next playlist update teased a 1v1 mode coming to the classic Modern Warfare 2 map Rust which was recently added to the game at the start of Season 2.
With Season Two just in the beginning of its run, Modern Warfare still has plenty of updates and surprises left in store for fans to look forward to as the season continues on. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare just finished its Valentine’s celebrations last week which featured some double XP events in select playlists and game modes.
